Category Buyer (Procurement)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid schedule with 3 days on site and 2 days working from home. Working hours: 15:00–23:30.

Salary: €1,900–€2,600 gross per month.

What you will do

• Support category and sourcing strategy development and execution.
• Analyze spend, demand, pricing, and market trends to identify savings and value-creation opportunities.
• Lead and support RFIs, RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers while supporting contract implementation.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Track savings and support sustainability, innovation, process improvement, reporting, and purchase order execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or purchasing.
• Experience with sourcing activities, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar.
• Understanding of procurement processes, RFx activities, and supplier risk management.
