What you will do

• Produce and present accurate, engaging weathercasts and occasional news reports across all platforms.
• Write and deliver clear, conversational weather stories that make complex science relatable.
• Cover severe weather and help viewers prepare for conditions through the evening and overnight.
• Collaborate with producers, anchors, and newsroom staff on informative evening coverage.
• Maintain journalistic integrity and production quality while bringing energy and creativity to broadcasts.

Requirements

• Degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a related field.
• Proven on-air experience delivering engaging weathercasts.
• Strong communication, storytelling, forecasting, and meteorology skills.
• Familiarity with current forecasting tools and digital weather platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
