Location: Onsite/in-office and field-based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, supporting projects across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland. Occasional local and out-of-state overnight travel, evening and weekend work, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation may be required.
Annual salary: $53,000–$63,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. Overtime and on-call projects may provide additional compensation.

What you will do
- Conduct field sampling of soil, groundwater, soil vapor, surface water, and other environmental media.
- Maintain monitoring and field equipment, collect geological data, and interpret results accurately.
- Assist with research, data collection, environmental guidance documents, permit applications, and compliance plans.
- Supervise field subcontractors and collaborate with colleagues, clients, the public, and project managers.
- Participate in emergency response activities, including the 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures while supporting continuous improvement and professional training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrology, or an allied science.
- 0–3 years of environmental consulting or similar experience.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records review.
- Ability to perform physically demanding field duties, including lifting and carrying equipment, walking across varied terrain, and working in adverse weather.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations and competence with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Foxit or Adobe, and Google Earth.
Nice to have
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
- Prior environmental consulting experience with industrial, municipal, or federal clients.
- Familiarity with common field equipment such as water quality meters, sampling equipment, air monitoring equipment, and GPS equipment.
