What you will do

  • Provide electrical and instrumentation engineering support throughout capital and expense projects.
  • Define project scope, develop economic justifications and cost estimates, schedule implementation, and secure funding.
  • Manage multiple projects from conception through closeout, typically ranging from $20,000 to $5,000,000.
  • Coordinate technical work with in-house designers, engineering contractors, Maintenance, Operations, and project stakeholders.
  • Develop and review construction packages, specify and purchase engineered materials, and provide field construction support and installation sign-off.
  • Support process safety activities, including HAZOP, LOPA, PHA, MOC hazard evaluations, and PSI updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • At least two years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering for refinery process and operations environments.
  • Ability to apply project management, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and technical review skills.
  • Availability to work in Canton, Ohio, with refinery, construction, and turnaround support duties.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Smart Instrumentation.
