Production Technician

Location: Normal, United States; onsite at the production plant

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble finished products using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specifications and operating data sheets.
• Review standard operating procedures, perform required assembly and quality checks, and verify special options.
• Check stock bins, carton packs, component fit, and fastener connections; report shortages or incorrect parts.
• Operate and check conveyor controls and safety stops.
• Resolve routine assembly and packing problems and escalate maintenance issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and complete daily 5S cleanup activities.

Requirements

• Ability to evaluate color.
• Willingness to follow company safety rules, job rotations, and handbook requirements.
• Willingness to report unsafe conditions and participate in safety, ergonomics, audit, and observation activities.
• Availability for either first shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or second shift, 6:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.
