Senior Project Manager - Safety and Industrial Hygiene

Location: New Providence, New Jersey, United States; travel to client sites throughout New Jersey and the greater New York City metropolitan area as needed.

Salary: USD 137,301–175,000 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Manage safety and industrial hygiene projects for public and private clients.
• Lead inspections, assessments, abatement design, and project oversight for asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, and PCBs.
• Conduct or oversee water intrusion, mold investigation, moisture mapping, industrial hygiene, and construction safety programs.
• Coordinate multiple projects with property owners, building managers, and local, state, and federal agencies.
• Develop client relationships, grow accounts, prepare proposals and deliverables, and increase services provided to clients.
• Manage budgets, mentor and oversee staff, and collaborate with national account teams.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience implementing safety and industrial hygiene services.
• Demonstrated success developing Safety and Industrial Hygiene accounts and implementing related projects.
• Experience working in New Jersey and/or the New York metropolitan area.
• Business development experience, including work with key account teams.
• Strong project management financial skills and experience preparing proposals, managing budgets, and overseeing staff.
• Consultative client approach, leadership, team-building, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Asbestos Inspector or NYC Investigator certification.
• Asbestos Designer certification.
• Lead-Based Paint Inspector or Risk Assessor certification from EPA and/or New Jersey.
• New York State Mold Assessor, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or Certified Safety Professional certification.
