Senior Safety Consultant - CSP (Industrial Safety)

Location: San Francisco, California; the role supports the West Coast region and may report to offices in Northern California, Southern California, Denver, or Seattle. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Salary: USD $135,000–$160,000 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and implement written health and safety programs covering hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection, PPE, electrical safety, hot work, and machine guarding.
• Develop, deliver, and support safety training programs.
• Perform hazard identification, risk evaluations, OSHA compliance audits, and safety due diligence assessments.
• Design, develop, and implement health and safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001, ANSI Z10, and applicable state requirements.
• Manage projects, mentor staff, coordinate delivery, and prepare client deliverables.
• Develop client relationships, identify solutions, support account teams, and contribute to service growth.

Requirements

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing environments across targeted industries.
• Experience developing and delivering OSHA compliance programs and conducting OSHA health and safety audits.
• Strong technical health and safety, communication, consulting, project management, and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to commute to project sites, carry equipment up to 40 lbs., climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs, and pass required background, drug, physical, and motor vehicle checks.
