Director Finance, Fabrication Operations

Location: Hybrid, with locations in Addison, Illinois; Dayton, New Jersey; North Las Vegas, Nevada; or Oakville, Ontario.

What you will do

• Build and maintain individual and consolidated P&Ls across four fabrication facilities, storage, rental inventory, and fleet operations.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, scenario-planning, and project profitability models covering labor, overtime, subcontracting, storage, fleet, and facility expenses.
• Analyze labor productivity, utilization, overhead absorption, margins, capacity, and other operational drivers of profitability.
• Map fabrication capacity against demand and support network planning, staffing, capital investment, vendor consolidation, and insource-versus-outsource decisions.
• Implement standardized KPIs, executive dashboards, and reporting processes across all locations.
• Support the integration of hirify.global and Impact XM fabrication operations, including common job-costing processes and D365 adoption.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, production, logistics, or another operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, job costing, labor utilization, overhead allocation, margin analysis, and operational performance management.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities, locations, or operating units.
• Ability to build financial models, forecasting processes, dashboards, and KPI frameworks from the ground up.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP and business intelligence experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or MBA.
• Experience evaluating capital investments and developing ROI-based business cases.
