is a global game marketing agency creating campaigns, trailers, key art, and social content for game developers, publishers, and brands.
What you will do
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, expenses, cash flow, and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis for revenue, expenses, cash flow, headcount, hiring, investments, and growth.
- Partner with Production, Client Services, and department leaders to monitor project budgets, staffing, costs, utilization, gross margin, and profitability.
- Coordinate financial consolidation, intercompany activity, cash movement, and multi-currency operations between the U.S. and UK entities.
- Support UK statutory accounts, tax, VAT, payroll, reporting, and compliance with external accountants and professional advisors.
- Present financial performance, forecasts, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership while improving financial systems, controls, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
- 8–10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including independent leadership of a finance function.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial reporting, and financial modeling.
- Experience in a project-based business and analyzing client or project profitability, labor costs, margins, and utilization.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, BILL, Rippling, Excel, Google Sheets, or comparable platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent working skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-entity or international operations, particularly U.S./UK finance.
- Background in advertising, creative agencies, entertainment, gaming, production, or post-production.
