What you will do

• Assist senior engineers with designing municipal and private decentralized wastewater systems.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, plans, and project documentation.
• Support the planning, design, construction, and operation of wastewater and stormwater projects.
• Contribute to projects involving groundwater treatment, water quality restoration, and nitrogen and phosphorus removal.
• Coordinate with municipal and private clients, contractors, project teams, and other professionals.
• Work independently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong computer, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, organized, and willing to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with ArcView or GIS.
• Familiarity with decentralized wastewater treatment systems.
• Knowledge of innovative wastewater and stormwater management technologies.
• Experience with nitrogen or phosphorus removal systems.
