TL;DR
Lean Manager (Manufacturing) (Lean Enterprise): Leading the implementation of Lean business practices and transformation plans across manufacturing operations with an accent on continuous improvement, process efficiency, and employee engagement. Focus on facilitating kaizen events, coaching Lean practitioners, analyzing operational processes, and sustaining improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash metrics.

Location: Plymouth, Wisconsin, United States; onsite role

Annual salary: $98,000–$115,000

What you will do

  • Lead the implementation of the Lean Enterprise system and location-specific continuous improvement plans.
  • Facilitate kaizen events and apply Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Cell Design, Material Flow, TPM, Root Cause Analysis, and related tools.
  • Coach and train employees, Lean practitioners, and team facilitators on Lean principles, behaviors, and methods.
  • Partner with operations leadership and the corporate Lean Enterprise team to track metrics, assess maturity, close gaps, and share best practices.
  • Analyze labor, setup, and production processes to identify cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Use SAP, QlikView, and supporting systems to improve operational efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing and project management within operations.
  • Demonstrated experience transforming business processes and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; SAP and QlikView experience is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Lean practitioner or Six Sigma certification.
  • Previous functional management experience.
  • Experience working within a defined Lean system.
  • Supply Chain or engineering experience.
