Allocation Analyst (Retail)

What you will do

• Execute initial purchase order allocations and manage replenishment for assigned departments or categories.
• Monitor and optimize store inventory levels, min/max parameters, and product flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales through allocation, size optimization, and inventory balancing across stores.
• Analyze business performance with Business Intelligence tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Track inbound purchase orders, communicate risks, and help mitigate inventory and supply chain issues.
• Prepare and present allocation strategies using APS and Weeks of Supply metrics while partnering with Buying, Planning, and Store teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of retail allocation, planning, or merchandising experience.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to interpret retail data, apply retail math concepts, and present action plans to leadership.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Business Intelligence software.
• Ability to perform general office functions, including sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with allocation systems and Planning and Allocation tools.
• Oracle Retail experience.
