Sr Forecasting Analyst - Walmart

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite full-time role

What you will do

• Lead daily replenishment and commercial execution for the Walmart business.
• Own store in-stock metrics by reviewing orders, maintaining purchase orders, and optimizing fill rates.
• Manage direct-import execution from Asia in partnership with the Customer Service team in Hong Kong.
• Build weekly shipping plans by item and channel to support point-of-sale plans, retailer inventory, and future orders.
• Partner with sales, retail analysts, buyers, customer service, supply planning, and allocation teams on order reviews, fulfillment, promotions, and cancellations.
• Lead forecasting meetings, present business findings, and recommend seasonal or annual action plans.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales analysis or merchandise buying and planning.
• Direct replenishment planning experience in a highly seasonal environment with long lead times.
• Strong experience analyzing large datasets from multiple sources and preparing actionable reports.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, business judgment, and process-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer packaged goods or retail.
• Experience with PowerBI, Alteryx, BigQuery, or other database programs.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting tools and cross-functional forecasting processes, including JDA, SAP, Demantra, or Anaplan.
• Experience with statistical forecasting techniques, systems applications, and model building.
