Metrology Coordinator (Aerospace)

Pay range: $30.16–$42.81 per hour

What you will do

• Identify, record, label, and maintain calibrated tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, and electronic devices.
• Conduct monthly audits and inspections of calibrated tooling and equipment.
• Coordinate documentation submission and management with the metrology team at headquarters.
• Provide calibration records to technicians and engineers for electrical measurement equipment such as pressure transducers, load cells, flow meters, and accelerometers.
• Inspect new tooling and equipment for manufacturing defects and ensure compliance with hirify.global quality standards.
• Provide basic cross-departmental support after completing primary responsibilities.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of manufacturing, tool crib, or data-entry experience.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold in a desert environment.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export-control regulations or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
• U.S. person status includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, and qualifying asylees and refugees.

Nice to have

• Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory or Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment experience.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100D, and ISO 9001.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using shop equipment.
