Sr Quality Engineer

Location: Hopkinsville, Kentucky, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Develop and implement advanced QA/QC methodologies for complex manufacturing challenges.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Implement Statistical Process Control and Statistical Quality Control practices in manufacturing and laboratory operations.
• Track and report quality metrics, including process capability, complaints, and corrective actions, while supporting Management of Change activities.
• Lead quality projects and major workstreams, coordinating technical support staff and cross-functional teams.
• Benchmark best practices and support the Responsible Care Management System in accordance with RC14001 requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in a science or engineering field.
• Minimum five years of technical quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing process controls, product variation, and Statistical Process Control.
• Knowledge of ISO compliance and quality problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to lead change initiatives, projects, and team members.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Automotive manufacturing experience.
