Compensation Manager - Commercial

Location: Toronto or Chicago, hybrid with 3 days per week in the office

New hire base salary: $96,200–$120,200 per year. Performance-based bonus eligibility is included.

What you will do

• Conduct and oversee job evaluations for broad-based positions to support internal parity.
• Support annual salary planning and salary survey submissions.
• Develop and maintain salary structures across multiple countries.
• Create compensation training materials for HR, people managers, and employees.
• Design and maintain internal compensation tools and support informed compensation decisions.
• Support internal and external compensation audits and monitor market trends and regulatory developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of compensation experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with compensation theories, principles, program design, and applicable laws.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and technical skills.
• Ability to support visualizations and summaries in Tableau or Power BI and perform ad hoc analytics in PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Workday experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and business software.
• Certified Compensation Professional or another HR certification.
• Korn Ferry Hay Job Slotting experience.
