What you will do

  • Provide quality assurance support for the procurement and manufacture of instrumentation, control equipment, mechanical components, and parts.
  • Oversee calibration, records control, and mechanical inspection programs.
  • Analyze quality problems, lead corrective actions, and drive improvements in quality systems, product yield, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead internal audits, source inspections, and customer or regulatory external audit support.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, policies, and procedures for nuclear regulatory compliance.
  • Manage, train, mentor, and evaluate direct reports while collaborating on vendor and process qualification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a technology role.
  • Prior experience with quality assurance requirements in the nuclear industry.
  • Prior experience leading direct reports.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Lead auditor certification or other auditing experience.
  • Electrical or mechanical inspection experience.
  • Experience interfacing with customers.
