CT Technologist (CT Scan)

What you will do

• Perform computed tomography procedures and related imaging techniques.
• Produce sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Prepare and position patients according to CT procedure protocols.
• Perform venipuncture and assist with interventional procedures.
• Apply radiation protection standards for patients, staff, and self.
• Document patient history, limitations, exam details, room information, and imaging techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology program.
• Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy certification required.
• ARRT CT certification required; ARRT-eligible candidates may obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• Obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Work on a per diem shift schedule in the Manchester clinical setting.
