CT Technologist - Per Diem

Location: MelroseWakefield Hospital, Melrose

Pay range: $44.17–$56.21 per hour

What you will do

• Perform CT procedures safely, accurately, and efficiently under the direction of the CT Supervisor and Radiologist.
• Operate CT scanners, pressure injectors, PACS units, Meditech, and related radiology systems.
• Adjust, manipulate, and reformat images according to examination requirements.
• Verify patient identity, scan information, contrast details, accession numbers, and anatomical labeling.
• Educate patients, provide feedback during examinations, escort patients, and prepare and clean examination rooms.
• Support quality assurance, equipment troubleshooting, supply management, and communication of findings to physicians and clinical departments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Radiologic Technologist state license in Computed Tomography.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification and ARRT or NMTCB CT certification.
• Two years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clerical procedures, scanners, PACS, VRC, Powerscribe, and Med Rad injectors.
