Okta Technical Consultant (Okta Identity Governance)

Location: Canada; remote

Base salary: CAD 105,000–120,000 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Design and implement Okta Identity Governance solutions, including SSO, MFA, Adaptive Authentication, access requests, access reviews, and entitlement management.
• Integrate Okta with SaaS, cloud, and on-premises applications using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Configure Okta Lifecycle Management for automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Define and implement joiner-mover-leaver identity lifecycle workflows.
• Manage multiple client engagements and provide technical support across deployment, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and post-implementation activities.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Customer Success teams while managing client expectations and delivery quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise IAM solutions as a Technical Consultant.
• 2–4+ years of hands-on Okta experience, including required experience configuring and implementing Okta Identity Governance.
• Strong knowledge of Okta SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, application integrations, and OIG governance workflows.
• Solid understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
• Experience integrating Okta with enterprise applications and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Okta Professional, Administrator, or Consultant certification; an Okta Identity Governance badge is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Okta Identity Engine, advanced authentication policies, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar IAM platforms.
• Knowledge of SOX, ISO, or GDPR compliance frameworks and RBAC governance models.
• Experience with scripting, automation, or Okta API integrations.
