What you will do

• Implement, optimize, and execute high-throughput assays in partnership with automated platform operators.
• Conduct in vitro assays in 384- and 1536-well microtiter plate formats.
• Use luminescence, TR-FRET, Nano-BRET, ALPHA, and high-content imaging assay formats.
• Perform mammalian cell culture, including expansion, banking, and quality control.
• Prepare and curate reagents for screening campaigns.
• Design, analyze, interpret, and report assay results while maintaining electronic lab notebooks and technical reports.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of scientific research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Alternatively, an associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell biology and high-throughput molecular or cellular assay execution.
• Strong experimental judgment, troubleshooting, organization, time management, and scientific documentation skills.
• Ability to work with moderate discretion and limited supervision and contribute to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to work on site in Thousand Oaks, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with ultra-high-throughput laboratory instrumentation such as Echo, WDII/PDII, or LPR.
• Experience providing technical guidance and presenting at team meetings.
• Interest or experience in applying AI-enabled scientific tools.
