Senior Analyst, Claims Litigation

Location: Onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annual, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Review initial claim reports, assess compensability, and identify fraud indicators for escalation.
• Manage complex workers’ compensation and general liability claims, including litigation risk and resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership, in-house counsel, and outside counsel on claim valuation, strategy, settlement authority, and counsel performance.
• Prepare and present claims for reviews, authorize payments, establish reserves, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with injured parties and legal representatives.
• Mentor associates and support continuous improvement in claims handling and litigation processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 2 years of claims-handling experience, or 4 years of claims-handling experience including complex or litigated workers’ compensation or general liability claims.
• Experience with litigation management, claims processing, legal discovery, litigation risk assessment, and claims adjudication.
• Strong negotiation and collaboration skills for working with leadership, associates, customers, and legal representatives.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional statutes, regulatory requirements, and insurance reporting standards.
• Current or prior Property & Casualty Adjuster License issued within the last 3 years.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Industry designations such as AIC or WCCP.
• Master of Business Administration or law doctorate.
