Senior Architect, AI Solutions Architecture - CorpTech

Location: CT - Hartford, United States

Annual base salary: $139,400–$230,000, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable, production-grade AI, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions aligned with business needs.
• Design LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, memory systems, vector database solutions, and tool or function-calling patterns.
• Develop reusable architecture patterns, reference architectures, design standards, target-state architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead hands-on prototypes and proof-of-concepts while supporting modernization and technical debt reduction.
• Support AI governance, risk management, responsible AI, and compliant production deployments using relevant industry frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, technology, business, and domain stakeholders to communicate architectural direction and secure alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM or technology field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least 6 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience; 8 years of architecture experience is preferred for the broader profile.
• Recent hands-on experience with AI/ML development and deployment, ML algorithms, neural networks, LLMs, transformer architectures, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with agentic AI patterns, tool use, function calling, RAG, memory systems, vector databases, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Familiarity with MLOps, AIOps, CI/CD for AI/ML workflows, LangChain, Strands, Crew AI, MCP, and AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
• Strong architecture, leadership, communication, strategic, collaboration, and insurance-industry knowledge.

Nice to have

• Insurance technology experience.
• Experience with Azure Foundry, Agent 365, or GCP/Gemini AI.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Enterprise/CLI/Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
