Program Controls Leader

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, or any hirify.global location. Hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work; frequent travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead the company-wide Program Controls function and establish strategies, best practices, digital solutions, and service capabilities.
• Partner with Program Management Leadership and support program managers, project teams, clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Lead, recruit, assign, develop, and retain Program Controls staff.
• Oversee controls for large, strategic, and complex programs while coordinating multiple projects and their interdependencies.
• Improve processes, resource planning, collaboration, risk mitigation, and program performance.
• Provide expert guidance, actionable communications, and client-facing presentations on Program Controls capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, architecture, business, building construction, construction management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience working in and leading program controls, including 5+ years leading the function for a company or business line.
• Advanced expertise in program and project controls, including baselines, performance monitoring, analysis, methodologies, and interdependencies.
• Experience developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar AI-enabled analytics platforms.
• Proven senior leadership experience, including team development, recruitment, retention, mentoring, and organizational performance management.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in a hybrid arrangement from Fort Worth, Texas, or another hirify.global location.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, Certified Construction Manager, or Project Management Professional certification.
• Experience with Oracle, Power BI, Excel Modeling, Power Query, SAP, SharePoint, Projectmates, Procore, PMIS databases, or Tableau.
• Professional organization participation, continuing education, conference presentations, publications, or industry thought leadership.
• Experience developing career growth paths for Program Controls professionals, estimators, and schedulers.
