Program Management, Business Solutions Consultant, IPS

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time on-site role

Salary: $74,200–$126,200 USD annually, with a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.

What you will do

• Monitor capital-funded strategic technology initiatives across Middle Office against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze monthly spend trends, forecast variances, overruns, underutilization, and budget risks.
• Review developer time reporting and validate capital allocations against approved initiatives and funding sources.
• Investigate discrepancies between planned capacity, reported effort, and project delivery progress.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting using Power BI, Excel, Azure DevOps, and related tools.
• Collaborate with technology, product, program management, engineering, delivery, and finance stakeholders to improve governance, reporting accuracy, and resource planning.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience analyzing budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, or operational metrics.
• Ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful business insights, with strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with capital planning, capital accounting, or technology investment governance.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar delivery management tools.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience in financial services, asset servicing, middle office, hedge fund administration, or technology delivery.
