Salary: $85,000–$113,300 annually

What you will do

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
• Apply underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits.
• Advise company personnel and customers on commercial real estate underwriting matters.
• Guide personnel in delivering real estate settlement services.
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines in line with established company processes.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of title underwriting experience; commercial experience is preferred.
• Law degree required and admission to practice law in the state of employment.
• Active law license in good standing.
• Familiarity with real estate law and title and settlement processes.
• Strong analytical, business, negotiation, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate, make decisive judgments, build relationships, and develop creative solutions.
