Fullstack Product Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, United States; this role is not remote.

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 USD annually

hirify.global is a Series A fintech startup building consumer financial tools that support cash advances, paycheck boosting, and credit building.

What you will do

• Build consumer-facing product features end-to-end, including domain models, business logic, and API integrations.
• Drive incremental, data-driven releases toward product milestones.
• Use SQL and analytics tools to evaluate product and system performance against data pipelines.
• Test and debug complex state machines in an event-driven, pub/sub backend.
• Ship production changes daily through CI/CD and respond to production incidents as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building backend features for production systems.
• Proficiency designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorization, and rate-limiting patterns.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and complex state machines.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Experience building consumer-facing products and strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go deployed on GCP.
• Background in early-stage or high-growth startups.
