Fullstack Engineer (React)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-office 5 days a week

Annual starting salary: $175,000–$275,000 plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the component library and design system across consumer, partner-facing, and internal products.
• Build and ship consumer app features for cardholder onboarding, account management, and rewards.
• Design and build internal tools for operations and risk teams.
• Take projects from requirements and implementation through testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Partner with product, design, backend engineering, partners, risk, and compliance.
• Improve performance, accessibility, observability, developer experience, and frontend architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building production systems at scale.
• 3+ years of experience with React across consumer products and data-heavy internal tools.
• Strong fundamentals in state management, component architecture, accessibility, testing, and UI quality.
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems used across multiple products.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects end to end in cross-functional environments.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, fraud, or financial services.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures or component library development.
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS, React Native, Yarn monorepos, and Next.js.
• Working knowledge of REST or GraphQL API design and backend integration patterns.
• Experience with experimentation and personalization systems.
