Growth Engineer (AI)

Salary: $260,000–$290,000 annually, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Build end-to-end product experiences for expert acquisition, onboarding, assessments, matching, activation, and retention.
• Partner with Growth and Operations to identify bottlenecks, instrument the funnel, and ship improvements.
• Own experiments from hypothesis and implementation through measurement and iteration.
• Develop internal tools and automation that improve the effectiveness of customer-facing and operational teams.
• Create durable product primitives and clean interfaces while improving existing systems.
• Use data, user feedback, and technical judgment to balance speed, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack engineering ability and experience shipping user-facing products from ambiguous requirements.
• Strong product sense and ability to focus on solutions that improve key metrics.
• Ability to work closely with non-technical partners and translate their needs into robust systems.
• High ownership, sound judgment, and ability to move quickly without unnecessary complexity.

Nice to have

• Experience with growth engineering, marketplace liquidity, onboarding, conversion optimization, or product analytics.
• Experience at a fast-growing startup or lean team where engineers owned product decisions and execution.
• Interest in AI, data products, or tools that make complex work more scalable.
