Senior Staff Electrical Engineer - Electrical Assembly (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Kenosha facility for approximately six months to establish the process, then primarily at the Mosel facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Salary: $113,000.00–$143,950.00 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and electrical integration of large-scale data center generators and enclosures.
• Ensure internal wiring, control panels, and power distribution systems meet safety and quality standards.
• Lead electrical assembly technicians through technical guidance, hands-on training, quality audits, and safety enforcement.
• Supervise factory acceptance testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and ground-bond testing.
• Review and sign off on production redlines and as-built documentation.
• Lead Kaizen and Lean improvements, coordinate electrical materials with supply chain, and investigate electrical test failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial electrical assembly or manufacturing.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical GA drawings.
• Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring new or transfer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Modular Data Center assembly or large-scale power skids.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, including VSM, 5S, and Standard Work.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for tracking production progress and labor hours.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS or CIT certification.
• UL 508A MTR certification or equivalent experience in a UL-certified panel shop.
