Senior Staff Electrical Engineer - Electrical Assembly

Location: Onsite at the Kenosha facility initially for approximately six months, then primarily at the Mosel facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Salary: $113,000–$143,950 per year

What you will do

• Oversee the manufacturing and electrical integration of large-scale data center generators and enclosures.
• Ensure enclosure wiring, industrial control panels, and power distribution systems comply with UL 508A, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79.
• Lead point-to-point wiring inspections, crimp and solder quality audits, and factory acceptance testing.
• Review production redlines and sign off on accurate as-built documentation.
• Lead and train electrical assembly technicians on wiring methods, tooling, safety procedures, and blueprint reading.
• Improve assembly flow through Kaizen and Lean initiatives, coordinate materials, and lead root-cause investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial electrical assembly or manufacturing.
• Advanced ability to read complex electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical GA drawings.
• Deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Experience leading electrical assembly teams and enforcing LOTO and PPE requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring new or transferred visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with modular data center assembly or large-scale power skids.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including VSM, 5S, and Standard Work.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production and labor tracking.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS or CIT certification.
• UL 508A MTR certification or equivalent UL-certified panel shop experience.
