Process Engineer –CNT Process R &D Team (CNT): Developing next-generation CNT process technology for battery materials to improve production efficiency, product quality, and sustainability with an accent on process and equipment design, experimentation, and scale-up. Focus on designing and analyzing complex experiments, developing novel equipment, applying kinetic modeling and advanced data analysis, and troubleshooting production processes.

What you will do

  • Develop next-generation CNT process technology for the battery materials business.
  • Research technical and commercial challenges in equipment and process design, formulate hypotheses, and develop technical approaches to complex problems.
  • Design, schedule, build, and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and scale up equipment and processes.
  • Generate, analyze, organize, and interpret experimental data to support process, materials, application, and scale-up decisions.
  • Develop process equipment and collaborate with vendors and service providers on capital efficiency and operational productivity.
  • Support production through troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering with a strong academic record and publications.
  • In-depth knowledge of heterogeneous catalysis and kinetic modeling.
  • Ability to conduct independent research, perform advanced statistical analysis, and communicate technical findings effectively.
  • Fluent English communication skills are required.
  • Experience with fluid bed reactors, spray technology, advanced data mining, machine learning/AI, or simulation tools such as Ansys and Comsol is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

  • 1–3 years of post-PhD work experience.
  • Experience with fluid bed reactors and spray technology.
  • Project experience in advanced data mining, machine learning/AI adoption, or engineering simulation.
