Associate Engineer, Process Development

What you will do

• Collaborate with process research chemists to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support process scale-up from laboratory work to pilot and manufacturing environments.
• Evaluate process and equipment performance to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Recommend and implement equipment modifications or upgrades.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, process evaluations, data analysis, and accurate documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and support troubleshooting and technical investigations while following safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, experimental, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reaction engineering, separation engineering, or chemical engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with GC, GC-MS, HPLC, HPLC-MS, or NMR instrumentation.
• Experience with process development, pilot plants, manufacturing environments, process scale-up, or technology transfer.
• Experience in specialty chemicals, flavors and fragrances, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
