Director, Corporate Accounting

What you will do

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation process across a multi-entity structure.
• Own corporate financial close and reporting for the Homebase and CRM SaaS businesses, in partnership with FP&A.
• Prepare technical accounting summaries, executive reports, and quarterly loan compliance deliverables.
• Set and maintain accounting policies across revenue recognition, leases, software capitalization, fixed assets, credit losses, and cash flow classification.
• Manage the annual external audit, including planning, PBC requests, technical memoranda, and issue resolution.
• Build and mentor the Corporate Accounting team while improving controls, processes, and ERP-enabled close automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience combining public accounting and industry experience.
• Deep technical U.S. GAAP knowledge across revenue recognition, leases, fixed assets, internal-use software, credit losses, and cash flow classification.
• Experience managing external auditor relationships and leading complex audit engagements.
• Proven people-management experience and the ability to lead and develop accounting professionals.
• Advanced Excel skills, comfort with large multi-entity data sets, and strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multi-entity, private-equity-backed, or multi-division organization.
• Experience with ERP systems, including Acumatica.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
