What you will do
- Perform maintenance test flights and functional check flight operations for UH-60 aircraft.
- Conduct scheduled, unscheduled, visual, and physical inspections of aircraft, components, parts, products, and raw materials.
- Apply quality control and safety plans in accordance with Army directives, contract specifications, approved technical data, and QMS procedures.
- Perform fault isolation and troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to resolve maintenance problems.
- Document inspection results, maintain quality control files, enter data into databases, and manage contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.
- Communicate deficiencies and corrective actions with management, staff, and crew members.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of Army Aviation maintenance experience.
- At least 3 years of Army Aviation maintenance quality control experience.
- Completion of military aircraft repairer school for a UH-60L, UH-60K, UH-60M, or UH-60V.
- Graduation from the BNOCC or an equivalent Armed Forces technical inspector course.
- Required FAA A&P License.
- Thorough knowledge of Army rotary-wing and commercial aviation maintenance practices and regulations, including automated TAMMS-A; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in management, production management, aviation maintenance, professional aeronautics with technical specializations, or aviation quality.
- Two years of developmental flight-testing experience.
