Project Manager – Substations and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

Location: Detroit, MI; projects throughout the United States; travel required

What you will do

• Manage a phase of a large, complex project or multiple medium-sized projects valued from more than $500K to $20M.
• Oversee project success from proposal and bidding through client delivery and profitable completion.
• Coordinate effectively with project teams, field personnel, and customers.
• Prioritize safety performance and promote a strong safety culture throughout project execution.
• Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and evolving technical responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliability, self-motivation, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Ability and willingness to travel for projects throughout the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience managing substation and battery storage projects.
• Familiarity with job cost tracking and estimating software.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Unifier.
