Operations Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; onsite facility-based role

Salary: $119,300–$178,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead facility operations and coordinate resources and employees to achieve business objectives.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, operating standards, SMART goals, KPIs, and employee development.
• Implement policies, procedures, and process documentation supporting operational excellence and long-range plans.
• Synchronize product, material, and information flows to maximize efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Establish practices and initiatives that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Define resource needs, manage budgets and staffing parameters, and serve as an Epicor or SAP super user when assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Industrial Technology, or 8 years of related operations experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive engineering management experience in a similar environment.
• Understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.
• Understanding of financial measurements and business goals.
• Strong project leadership and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work at the Belvidere, Illinois facility, including regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting of 25–50 pounds.
