Senior Studio Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop CAD data and creatively solve design issues affecting product aesthetics and manufacturing goals across Phases 0, 1, and 2 of the hirify.global PLUS process.
• Work primarily in CATIA V5/V6 with hirify.global and OEM engineering data alongside Industrial Design.
• Support feasibility, functionality, craftsmanship, packaging, and prototype deliverables, including hands-on work with prototype parts and demonstrators.
• Coordinate work targets with adjacent disciplines including CS, Trim, Foam, S&M, SMEs, and Automation teams.
• Review OEM Industrial Design requirements against the Engineering Bill of Material and document issues or gaps for resolution.
• Conduct Pre-Surface Design Reviews and coordinate approval for Class A surfacing to begin.

Requirements

• Training and proficiency in an hirify.global-approved CAD/PC system.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create feasibility sections with little or no initial data.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Alternatively, an associate or technical degree with four years of automotive experience, or six years of automotive design experience.
• Ability to maintain project issue lists and complete PSDRs according to program timing.
