Production Operator

Location: Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Starting pay: $29.75–$30.42 per hour

What you will do

• Operate technical equipment safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Use computers and process controls to run production operations.
• Monitor equipment and respond appropriately to unusual operating conditions.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area.
• Drive hand and power trucks as part of production activities.
• Collaborate with coworkers and participate in Lean and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education completed before starting.
• At least two years of manufacturing or production work experience.
• Ability to work rotating day, afternoon, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Pass required hirify.global employment testing as part of the selection process.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Self-motivation, teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Military reserve or veteran experience.
