Transportation Construction Representative

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; work site in Durant, Oklahoma

hirify.global is an infrastructure planning and design firm working on water supplies, roadways, bridges, natural disaster preparation, and related community infrastructure projects.

What you will do

• Observe and inspect transportation, water, and facilities infrastructure construction for compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Oversee construction record keeping, recommend contractor payments, review proposed change orders, and prepare daily reports.
• Prepare for and support preconstruction meetings, progress checks, and conflict resolution.
• Provide project and construction managers with information about change orders, extra work, and supplemental agreements.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal employees.
• Guide other construction representatives and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of relevant construction experience as a construction representative or inspector.
• Full proficiency with project management information systems such as e-Builder, Buzzsaw, FNI Manager, or Site Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a related field.
• CCM, DOT technical, ACI I, APWA, or Level I NICET certification.
