Transportation Project Engineer (Civil Transportation Engineering): Preparing engineering drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, and contract documents for transportation facilities with an accent on permitting compliance, project delivery, and technical quality control. Focus on designing transportation infrastructure for state and local jurisdictions, applying ITD procedures, and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets through bidding and construction.
Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States
Compensation: $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the company’s sign-on bonus program.

What you will do
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, and contract documents.
- Design transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies to support permitting compliance.
- Support clients during bidding, contracting, and construction.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and quality control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer registration in Idaho or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
- Experience designing transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
- Experience with ITD procedures and requirements.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and GeoPak.
