What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year health, wellbeing, and retirement strategies aligned with business priorities and the Total Rewards philosophy.
• Lead plan design, financial forecasting, funding recommendations, cost containment, and benefits portfolio benchmarking.
• Manage strategic relationships with brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and wellbeing partners.
• Oversee vendor reviews, contract negotiations, service-level agreements, competitive RFPs, and benefits technology improvements.
• Provide strategic direction for benefits administration, Workday Benefits functionality, HRIS integrations, automation, governance, and operational controls.
• Lead Open Enrollment, regulatory reporting, audits, employee education, and cross-functional benefits initiatives while developing the Benefits team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of progressive experience leading benefits programs, or equivalent education and experience.
• Deep expertise in U.S. health, wellbeing, and retirement programs, including plan design, financing, governance, and compliance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, healthcare cost management, and benefits administration operations.
• Experience managing brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, Workday Benefits, HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English is required.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross-functional initiatives across Finance, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, Communications, and HR Operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with self-funded healthcare plans, stop-loss arrangements, alternative funding strategies, large-scale Open Enrollment, and vendor implementations.
• CEBS, CBP, or another professional benefits certification.
• Experience in a large, complex, multi-state organization or a shared-services model.
• Experience developing executive dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven recommendations.
