What you will do

  • Manage clinical trials involving investigational products, including staff training, protocol review, investigational brochures, and site initiation activities.
  • Maintain investigational product binders, drug accountability records, and blinding and unblinding processes.
  • Build study regimens and compound or admix medications accurately and promptly according to physician orders, trial protocols, pharmacy manuals, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Monitor pharmacy stability conditions, including temperature, light exposure, and expiration dates.
  • Participate in securing compassionate-use care for patients.
  • Consult with nursing and medical staff and support quality assurance, safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
  • Hospital pharmacy experience required.
  • Ability to comply with clinical trial, legal, accreditation, safety, and OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Oncology pharmacy experience.
  • Clinical research experience.
  • Experience supervising pharmacy technicians.
