Specialty Pharmacist, Hemophilia

Location: Remote; candidates must reside in Florida, Texas, Missouri, California, or Michigan and hold an active pharmacist license in one of those states. Work Monday through Friday during Eastern, Central, or Pacific time-zone schedules; some holidays and on-call shifts are required.

Salary: $51.78–$95.81 per hour

What you will do

• Dispense and manage specialized medications for patients with hemophilia.
• Review prescription orders for dosage, drug selection, interactions, administration route, stability, completeness, and accuracy.
• Provide medication counseling, treatment-plan education, clinical monitoring, and technical support to patients, physicians, nurses, and clinics.
• Conduct drug utilization reviews, assess therapy response and adherence, identify clinical concerns, and manage adverse events.
• Maintain complete patient charts and document communications, interventions, laboratory results, and medication information.
• Support quality-improvement projects, pharmacy procedures, personnel training, regulatory paperwork, and pharmacy operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with at least 3 years of mail-order, retail, or hospital pharmacy experience, or a PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license and residence in Florida, Texas, Missouri, California, or Michigan are required.
• Hemophilia pharmacy experience is required; specialty-care experience is highly relevant.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage and work the required time-zone schedule, including some holidays.
