Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: USA - East Peoria, Illinois

Annual salary: $108,000–$140,000, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Prepare balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, cash flow statements, and supplementary financial reports, with a focus on percentage of completion accounting.
• Support general ledger accounting and the management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory controls.
• Coordinate accounting systems, procedures, internal financial statements, operating data, and special reports.
• Analyze operating results, research special assignments, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives and provide accounting support across departments.
• Support external audits and maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 5–8 years of experience in business and finance in a senior financial role.
• Experience with multifaceted direction and planning in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Knowledge of database and general ledger accounting application systems.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP, and FASB.
• Ability to work with financial information under tight deadlines and direct the work of others.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with OneStream.
