Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities and prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial reports.
• Perform balance sheet and subledger reconciliations covering AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, and deposits.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accuracy, and monitor accruals, deferrals, and adjustments.
• Support internal and external audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Identify and implement improvements to reconciliation, reporting, documentation, and accounting automation processes.
• Collaborate with operations, AP/AR, payroll, project management, shared services, and warehouse staff on accounting issues and inventory cycle counts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems; Infor Syteline is preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and ERP tools in a fast-paced implementation environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

• Fluent Spanish knowledge.
