Global Technology Manager (Advanced Performance Materials)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; domestic and international travel up to 25%

Salary: $141,120–$220,500 per year; annual bonus target: 16%

What you will do

• Lead and develop a global team of R&D scientists and application engineers.
• Set strategic priorities, talent development plans, and technical excellence standards.
• Coordinate global technology programs, resource allocation, development priorities, and progress evaluation.
• Align technical resources with commercial strategy for new product and application development.
• Oversee laboratory operations, equipment investments, testing methodologies, prototyping, and application development.
• Engage strategic customers and value chain partners to support adoption and commercialization of new materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in R&D, technology leadership, materials development, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of direct people management experience leading technical teams and developing talent.
• Experience leading global technology organizations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong background in polymer formulation, processing, characterization, and product development for advanced electronics and semiconductor applications.
• Ability to work in Newark, Delaware, United States; immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
• Expertise in fluoropolymer extrusion, molding, compounding, films, tubing, and wire and cable applications.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, advanced electronics, AI infrastructure, high-speed connectivity, and data center technologies.
• Experience developing materials for semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, energy, electronics, medical, and chemical processing industries.
• Success driving innovation, strategic customer engagement, and global R&D organizations across technology development and manufacturing environments.
