Sr. Solutions Architect

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; candidates in other locations may also be considered. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Salary: $219,100–$301,300 USD annually, plus potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives for the assigned territory.
• Advise customers on data analytics architecture, solution design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Lead complex engagements involving cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and customer teams on use-case prioritization and technical champion development.
• Create customer-facing technical content and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Develop further through technical specialization, industry thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience with complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales across the sales lifecycle.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives while orchestrating teams toward long-term customer success.
• Prior coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on experience with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
• Ability to provide specialized technical solutions and navigate competitive environments.
