What you will do
- Analyze financial, accounting, operational, and business process information for a banking controllership function.
- Identify risks, anomalies, control deficiencies, and exceptions across processes and transactions.
- Execute audit testing and validation procedures, including reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Assess control effectiveness, information integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare documentation, executive reports, presentations, and analyses for Controllership, Internal Audit, and leadership teams.
- Track audit findings, observations, and remediation plans while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Controllership, Internal Controls, or similar functions within financial services.
- Experience in banking institutions or financial services organizations.
- Knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational processes, internal control frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Experience with data analysis and validation, plus advanced Excel skills.
- Intermediate English proficiency required. Knowledge of CNBV, IFRS/NIF, or SOX is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of financial and regulatory frameworks, including CNBV, IFRS/NIF, or SOX.
