TL;DR
Senior Consultant – Research and Consulting (Consumer Credit Analytics): Designing and delivering data-driven research and consulting projects on consumer credit trends, lending markets, consumer behavior, and financial services performance with an accent on statistical analysis, market intelligence, and executive communication. Focus on building analytical frameworks, translating complex findings into business recommendations, leading client engagements, and presenting insights in English and Spanish.
Location: Eagle - D.F. Del. Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned office at least two days per week

What you will do
- Analyze consumer credit data to identify industry trends, market developments, and emerging lending opportunities.
- Design and execute research and analytical projects covering market dynamics, consumer behavior, and financial services performance.
- Build analytical frameworks and translate statistical findings into business insights and executive-level presentations.
- Deliver market intelligence and research findings to senior leadership and external clients.
- Lead client-facing and internal consulting engagements with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborate with sales, business development, statisticians, data scientists, modelers, and industry experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least five years of experience in banking, consumer lending, financial services, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of consumer credit data, financial markets, lending dynamics, data analytics, statistical methodologies, and quantitative research.
- Experience leading analytical or consulting projects, managing stakeholders, communicating with executives, and presenting complex findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R, SQL, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience working with large datasets is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with credit bureau data or alternative consumer data sources.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics, forecasting, or machine learning applications in financial services.
- Experience creating executive-level thought leadership materials, market research reports, or industry publications.
- Consulting experience with external banking, lending, or financial services clients.
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
