Associate, Quantitative DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Up to 18 remote workdays are available per quarter with manager approval.

Base salary: $135,000–$145,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus and potential long-term rewards.

What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for automated build, testing, approval, and deployment across development, test, and production environments.
• Support the stability, performance, and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions for cloud storage, compute, and networking resources.
• Administer Git repositories, branching strategies, versioning standards, and code promotion practices.
• Use Docker or Podman to standardize application deployments and apply configuration management and security controls.
• Provide production support through issue triage, root cause analysis, prioritization, and coordination with data engineers, researchers, product, and platform engineering.

Requirements

• Six years of DevOps experience in cloud-based software delivery.
• Experience supporting technology applications or digital products with DevOps and process automation methods.
• Expertise in Git-based repositories, CI/CD pipeline development, deployment automation, and approval gates.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell, including rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept development.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably in Microsoft Azure, plus containerization with Docker or Podman.
• Experience supporting production environments, managing incidents, diagnosing complex issues, and delivering high-complexity projects. Experience in financial services or investment management is required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Snowflake and data platform ecosystems.
• Experience in data-focused or research-based environments.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
